Butchered girl `sorry' before knife frenzy
A teenager pleaded with the boyfriend she cheated on: "I'm sorry, I didn't want to hurt you" before he plunged two knives into her body, neck and face, a court heard yesterday.

The frenzied attack, in which he stabbed her up to 50 times, ended when Leung Pak-ming hacked off her head to make sure she was dead.

"She said `sorry' and `don't' and then admitted she had another boyfriend but didn't tell me because she didn't want to hurt me."
Leung also stabbed Li 10 times in the heart.
Finally, he cut off her head and placed it between her arm and hips before calling a friend to say what he had done.
Leung said he decided to kill Li after a phone call in which she told him that she would rather he kill "the other party" than commit suicide.
Before Li's death, Leung twice attempted suicide by slashing his wrists.
